Antonov Mikhail
In 2006, he graduated from the Faculty of History of the Zhetysu Economic Institute (Taldykorgan).
In 2006, he completed training and received certificates "Fundamentals of GIS" (Institute of Geography of the Republic of Kazakhstan, ESRI training center "GIS_INGEO").
In 2005, he participated in the expedition of the project "Archaeological Mission of Kalat" – research of the Bronze Age settlement Sohr Damb (Nall district, Balochistan, Pakistan), under the leadership of Ph.D. Ute Franke-Vogt (Germany).
In 2005-2009, he participated in UNESCO grants (Otrar settlement).
Since 2004, he has been working at the Margulan Institute of Archaeology of the CS MES RK. He supervised the work of archaeological detachments and expeditions on the territory of Semirechye and Southern Kazakhstan. He participates in the implementation of grant and program-targeted financing projects of the CS of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The main scientific interests of M. Antonov are the issues of reconstruction by the method of three-dimensional modeling, photogrammetry, GIS and analytics, landscape archaeology, cartography and archaeological documentation in general.
