3D modeling

One of the methods for studying, preserving, and popularizing historical and cultural heritage sites is 3D modeling of monuments. The Institute carries out a comprehensive range of activities in this field, including measuring and scanning objects using ground-based scanners and photogrammetry to capture precise coordinates, processing the collected data with specialized software to create 3D models, 3D visualization, and animation of the completed digital 3D models for scientific and practical purposes, among other tasks. The Institute’s staff successfully creates digital models of various historical and cultural heritage objects, ranging from small artifacts and individual monuments to cultural (geographical) landscapes.
