Goryachev Alexander
In 1992, he graduated from the Historical Faculty of the Kazakh State Pedagogical University named after Abai.
In 1992, he was admitted to the Margulan Institute of Archaeology as a senior laboratory assistant. In 1993, he was transferred to the position of Junior Researcher, since 2002 - Researcher. In 2015 - to the position of Senior Researcher, in 2021, to the position of Leading Researcher.
Main research interests: culture of the population of the Middle and Late Bronze Age Zhetysu (comprehensive study of monuments (settlements, burial grounds petroglyphs) of the Bronze Age, problems of their typology and chronology, formation and development of economic and cultural types of the ancient population of the region, typology of ancient sacred monuments and semantics of the main images of rock art of the Bronze Age).
Responsible editor of the scientific almanac of the Institute of Archaeology "History and Archaeology of Semirechye". Author of 14 monographs (including collective works) and over 100 scientific publications.
Awards: in 1999, he was awarded the Young Scientist Award for a series of studies on the ancient Zhetysu culture and rock art monuments of the southern regions of Kazakhstan.
