Akymbek Yeraly
In 1999, he graduated from the Faculty of History, Archaeology and Ethnology of the Al-Farabi Kazakh State National University.
In 2001, he graduated from the Master's degree program of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a degree in Archaeology and Ethnology.
2001-2003 - intern-researcher of the Department of Archaeology and Ethnology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
2003-2007 - Junior Researcher, Researcher at the Yasawi International Kazakh-Turkish University.
In 2012-2015, he studied at the doctoral program of the Department of Archaeology, Ethnology and Museology of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
In 2015, he received a doctorate in Archaeology and Ethnology (Ph.D.), defended his doctoral thesis.
Since 2007, he has been working at the Margulan Institute of Archaeology as a Researcher, Senior Researcher, and Leading Researcher.
As a member of the South Kazakhstan complex archaeological expedition and the head of the detachment, he conducts research on medieval monuments of the south of Kazakhstan.
He takes an active part in the implementation of grant and program-targeted financing projects of the CS of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The main scientific interest of Ye. Akymbek is the study of medieval cities and settlements of Kazakhstan, observation of the development and process of pottery production and interdisciplinary study of pottery.
