
Vladimir Sadomskov (12.01.1928-14.05.1993)
Vladimir Sadomskov was born on January 12, 1928 in Uralsk. In 1942-1946, he worked at the Voroshilov plant in Uralsk; in 1946-1947 - at the Kirov plant in Alma-Ata; and as a teacher at school No. 57. In 1960, he graduated from the Faculty of History of Kazakh State University named after Kirov.
He was enlisted in the staff of the Department of Archaeology on March 16, 1966 as a restorer engineer. He trained at the State Hermitage Museum. He created a copy of a wooden tomb from the Saka mound Besshatyr.
V. Sadomskov was a professional archaeologist, he led a detachment that studied the Karatum necropolis, the royal Saka burial ground Alekseevsky. He took part in the work of the Ili archaeological expedition, which conducted excavations of the Besshatyr mounds under the leadership of K. Akishev.
V. Sadomskov, under the scientific guidance of K. Akishev, made a model of the "Golden Man", restoring the headdress, clothes, shoes, jewelry and weapons. On May 18, 1993, on the day of Museums, he was awarded the title of honorary citizen of the city of Issyk.
V. Sadomskov passed away on May 14, 1993.
