Kuznetsova Ella

Kuznetsova Ella was born on July 19, 1936 in the city of Alma-Ata. In 1959, she graduated from the Physics Department of the Kazakh State University and was sent to the Central Geophysical Laboratory in Karaganda as an engineer. In 1961, she moved to Alma-Ata and entered the Institute of Chemical Sciences of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR as a senior laboratory assistant. In 1963, she joined the K.I. Satpayev Institute of Geological Sciences of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR. From 1969 to 1971, she studied in postgraduate studies at the same institute. In 1972, enrolled in the Department of Archaeology of the Institute of History, Archaeology and Ethnography named after Ch. Valikhanov of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR. In 1973, she defended her dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences on the topic "Study of the distribution patterns of bismuth in rocks and ores of Kazakhstan by spectrographic method". She took an active part in the archaeological research of the SKCAE. She was engaged in the application of spectral analysis in geology and archaeology; research of ancient metallurgy by spectral analysis methods. Her works dealt with issues related to the ancient bronze foundry production and technology of non-ferrous metal alloys. Among the works on archaeology, articles on the study of metal products from the settlement of Atasu and monuments of Syntas, Bizhe are of great scientific interest.
In 1996, she went on a well-deserved rest.
