Itenov Abdykadyr (13.01.1951-19.02.2007)

Itenov Abdikadyr was born on January 13, 1951 in the village of Gosselektsiya of Almaty region. In 1982, he graduated from the Faculty of History of the Kazakh State University named after Kirov. From April 1972 until 1986, he worked at the Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Kazakh SSR, where he worked his way up from a laboratory assistant in the Department of Archaeology to the position of a restorer engineer in the Department of Archaeology. He took part in the work of the SKCAE, was the head of the excavation and the detachment. He explored the settlement of Otrartobe. In 1986-2002, he worked at the Institute "Kazproektrestavratsiya", held the position of head of the sector, Senior Researcher, head of the Department of the History of material Culture. From 2003 until 2005, he worked in the State Historical, Cultural and Natural Reserve-Museum "Tamgaly". In 2005, he was hired as a researcher at the Margulan Institute of Archaeology of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
He passed away on February 19, 2007.
