Research interests: conducting scientific research:
- medieval urban culture of Southern Kazakhstan, in interaction predominantly with the nomadic culture of the environment;
- religions and spiritual culture of antiquity and the Middle Ages on the Great Silk Road: mutual influences with spiritual traditions of Central Asia;
- rock art monuments of Zhetysu and Southern Kazakhstan, the genesis of traditional culture and mythology from the Bronze Age to the late Middle Ages.
