Chess Tournament Held at the Margulan Institute of Archaeology

On February 28, 2025, the A.Kh. Margulan Institute of Archaeology hosted a chess tournament organized by the Council of Young Scientists and the Trade Union Organization. Employees of the institute and young researchers actively participated in the intellectual competition, showcasing their skills and strategic thinking.
As honored guests, scientific staff from the Sh. Sh. Ualikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology were invited to take part in the tournament. They joined the competition with great enthusiasm. The event contributed to strengthening cooperation between the two institutes and provided an opportunity for informal exchanges among researchers.
The main goal of the tournament was to promote chess among employees, develop intellectual thinking, and foster team spirit within the scientific community. Participants played intense matches, demonstrating their analytical abilities and tactical skills.
Tournament Winners
Following the results of the competition, the winners were determined:
Kulbek Asshat – tournament champion
Nurgali Nesipbai – second place winner
Akhiyarov Islam – third place winner
The winners were awarded special diplomas from the Institute of Archaeology and received well-deserved recognition. Additionally, all active participants were presented with certificates of appreciation and commemorative prizes.
