The "Institute of Archaeology" and the "Presidential Center" signed a memorandum of cooperation

On February 6, 2024, in the city of Astana, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the General Director of the A.Kh. Margulan Institute of Archaeology, Akan Ongaruly, and the Director of the Presidential Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Bakhytzhan Temirbolat.
The document aims to develop scientific cooperation, implement joint programs and projects, exchange information, and organize scientific and socially significant events. As part of the partnership, conferences, seminars, training sessions, forums, exhibitions, and other activities are planned.
During the meeting, Akan Ongaruly presented the latest publications of the Institute of Archaeology and donated them to the Presidential Center.
It is worth noting that on January 25, the exhibition "Kazakhstan Archaeology: New Discoveries" was opened at the Presidential Center with the participation of the State Adviser of the Republic of Kazakhstan, E.T. Karin. Its main goal is to introduce the public to the results of recent field research and promote the rich historical and cultural heritage of the country.
The exhibition was organized by the Astana branch of the A.Kh. Margulan Institute of Archaeology, the Congress of Historians of Kazakhstan, and the Presidential Center. The exposition features artifacts from the collections of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as historical and regional museums of the Aktobe, Atyrau, Zhambyl, Karaganda, Kyzylorda, Mangystau, Pavlodar, and East Kazakhstan regions, and the Botai and Saraychik state historical and cultural museum-reserves.
The exhibition will run until March 3.
